💳 Payment & Cancellation Policy – Strangers Together
To make your booking experience seamless and transparent, please review our updated Payment and Cancellation Policy below. These guidelines are divided into Short Haul and Long Haul categories based on destination.
📍 Short Haul Destinations
Includes:
Domestic Trips (India), Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Dubai, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, and similar.
🧾 Payment Policy:
Booking Confirmation: Minimum advance of ₹2000 (non-refundable).
Flight Bookings: 100% advance required at the time of booking.
Final Payment: Must be paid in full before departure or as instructed by the travel coordinator.
In case of pickup-based trips: Remaining amount is payable at the time of pickup.

Days Before Departure Cancellation Charges
31+ Days ₹2000 Booking Amount (Non-refundable) – Balance as credit note
30–16 Days 50% of the tour cost – Balance as credit note
15 Days or Less 100% of the tour cost
✈️ Actual airfare cancellation charges apply separately.
❌ No refund for non-refundable services like visas, permits, activities.
⚠️ Cancellation policy is non-negotiable.
💰 5% GST applies to total cancellation amount.
📌 Charges may vary for peak seasons, special events, or holidays.
🌍 Long Haul Destinations
Includes:
Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, South America, Jordan, Israel, and similar.
🧾 Payment Policy:
Booking Confirmation: As per package requirements; flight-inclusive trips need full airfare upfront.
Full Tour Payment: Required 30 days before departure.
❌ Cancellation Policy:
Days Before Departure Cancellation Charges
46+ Days Booking Amount (Non-refundable) – Balance as credit note
45–31 Days 60% of the tour cost – Balance as credit note
30–21 Days 80% of the tour cost – Balance as credit note
20 Days or Less 100% of the tour cost
✈️ Flight cancellations follow airline-specific rules.
❌ No refund for non-refundable components.
💰 5% GST applicable on total cancellation amount.
📌 Policy may change based on travel season, events, and destination.
ℹ️ Additional Notes
No Show: No refund will be issued in case of a no-show.
Add-on Charges: Any personal expenses, additional meals, or unplanned activities must be paid directly at hotels/restaurants.
Responsibility: Strangers Together is not liable for delays or cancellations due to external factors (weather, government orders, etc.).
