🔒 Booking & Payment Policy
Booking Confirmation:
A non-refundable advance payment is required to confirm your spot.
Payment Schedule:
25% deposit at the time of booking (non-refundable)
50% of the amount due 30–45 days before departure
100% payment to be completed 20 days before the trip begins
Flight-inclusive Packages:
Airfare must be paid in full at the time of booking, and is non-refundable.
Pending Payments:
If full payment isn’t received on time, your booking may be cancelled without refund.
- 🚫 Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation by You:
31+ days before trip: Booking amount is retained (non-refundable)
16–30 days before: 50% cancellation charge
Less than 15 days: 100% cancellation charge
Refunds (if applicable):
Processed within 7–10 working days
In some cases, credit notes may be issued instead of cash refunds
No refunds for unused activities, missed transportation, or inclusions
Non-Transferable Bookings:
Only the person(s) named at booking will be allowed to travel. Bookings cannot be transferred.
- 🪪 ID & Travel Requirements
A valid government ID is mandatory for all travelers.
No boarding will be allowed without ID verification.
For international travel: valid passport and visa are required.
Visa approvals are beyond our control.
- 🎒 Luggage & Personal Belongings
Travelers are responsible for their own luggage and valuables.
The company is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
- 🕒 Itinerary & Delays
Itinerary changes may be made in case of weather, safety concerns, group preferences, or unforeseen events.
Punctuality is key – delays by any traveler may lead to skipping activities without compensation.
All experiences are subject to availability, weather, and group dynamics.
- 💼 Accommodation & Amenities
Standard check-in time is 3 PM, and check-out is 11 AM (may vary by destination).
Shared accommodations are provided unless specified otherwise.
AC may not be available in hill destinations.
Extra hotel services (minibar, laundry, etc.) are not included in the package.
- 🍻 Clubbing, Cover Charges & Add-ons
Certain experiences like clubbing or rooftop entries may require cover charges, table bookings, or minimum billing, which are not included.
These extra expenses (if applicable) will be communicated during the trip and are to be borne by the traveler.
- 💥 Behavior & Community Guidelines
We’re building a travel community — respect is non-negotiable.
Misconduct, harassment, or unsafe behavior can result in removal from the trip without refund.
Respect the trip leader, locals, and fellow travelers at all times.
- ⚠️ Risk & Responsibility
Adventure activities are undertaken at your own risk.
Please disclose any medical conditions prior to the trip.
Travel insurance is highly recommended, especially for high-altitude or remote locations.
- ⚖️ Legal & Liability
Strangers Together acts as a facilitator, connecting travelers with third-party vendors (hotels, airlines, transporters, etc.).
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by third parties or force majeure events (like weather, natural disasters, strikes, or pandemics).
